Day1: Depart Heathrow early afternoon to Luxor. Met at the airport By your Lecturer .Transfer to the Hotel (3 star)
Day 2:Breakfast. Welcome meeting. Plus the opportunity to take advantage of your time in Luxor to visit some unusual sites,
eg. Medamud , El-kab , Tod, and others. Rest of the day free . * These visits are optional.
Day 3:Breakfast. Check out of Hotel. We begin our Desert Experience . Driving south out of Luxor .
Then beginning our ascent onto the escarpment, and on towards kharga . Our first site in kharga is the Roman Temple / Fortress at Dush , which marked the southern frontier of the Roman Empire. Stop for a drink near Sanaa .The next stop is Qasr El - Zayyan, with its recently re-excavated interior buildings, this is also a Roman fortress/ Temple. Our next ancient site is Qasr EI-Ghueita, (Fortress of the Beautiful Garden ), this is a Fortress/ Temple which was started by the persians. We continue our drive into kharga city and check into the Hotel
Day 4:Breakfast. We begin our visits around kharga city by visiting The hilltop Temple / Fortress of Nadura,
from here the view of the surrounding desert is stunning. Next we drive to the Christian cemetery of Bagawat, which is believed to be one of the oldest Christian cemeteries in the world and the best preserved. Continue to the Temple of Hibis, built mainly by the persian ruler Darius I, we can only look at the outside at the temple is under a big restoration programme, take note of the unusual colouring of the local stone used. Return to the hotel via the' Souk' at kharga.
Day 5: Breakfast. Check out of Hotel. Our first stop is Kharga Museum , it has many important artifacts from
Day 6: Breakfast. Check out of hotel. Transfer to the train station for the journey to Luxor, on arrival transfer to Hotel
Day 7 : Breakfast. Check out of hotel. Transfer to Luxor Airport for flight (Final Departure )
